There are many ways to energize your workout training program. If you are an avid coffee drinker and at the same time a gym enthusiast, then you will definitely love these coffee facts.

Coffee Fact 1: Caffeine Dosage. Consider your body weight to the amount of your coffee dosage. The larger you are the more dosage you need, while the smaller you are, the smaller coffee amount you need to drink. Studies from the Exercise Nutrition and Metabolism Laboratory of the University of Auckland in New Zealand concluded that a larger body relates to more active tissues in terms of the metabolism process. The rough suggested dosage ranges from 0.5 to 1.4 milligrams of caffeine content per one pound of body. A cup of coffee usually contains about 160 mg of caffeine which good enough for a typical person weighing around 110-115 pounds.

Coffee Fact 2: Know your threshold dosage or intake. If you follow the suggestion above, it does not alone guarantee an effective result. You need to consider as well your tolerance level for the dosage of coffee you can drink per day. If you have been drinking coffee over the years, then there is no need to worry about coffee tolerance. Your intake should increase to achieve the same effect. However, if you are a newbie to this, you do not need to drink large amount of coffee to observe considerable effects and changes of the results. Smaller amounts will provide noticeable effects.

Coffee Fact 3: Follow your daily routine. If drinking coffee is already a habit and is part of your daily routine, then you should always follow it through accordingly. The recommendation is that you take coffee 30 to 60 minutes before your workout training program. This will improve the absorption of caffeine in your blood and increases maximum performance of your workout training program.

Coffee Fact 4: Coffee is a diuretic. Always keep in mind that coffee is a natural diuretic. Too much amount of coffee in the body will result in diuresis. This is not good when you are having your workout training program. Dehydration can speed up during sweating and you will lose a significant amount of important electrolytes needed for your workout training program.

The important thing to keep in mind is that you need to have a proper regulation of your coffee dosage to energize your workout experience. You can always get the most of your workout training program together with your coffee intake, if you know and understand how to collaborate the two factors.
